The team from Lunberg Design has been working on the new Ticket Kiosks for the Cable Cars in San Francisco and using image-based perforated sheet metal deisgn to enhance the aesthetic factors in their design using Image2Punch. the cable cars in San Francisco are known throughout the world, and each of these ticket booths gets over 1 million visitors per year and the project is to be complete by April 2010.

The team from Graepel Perforators and Weavers Ltd. has conducted several tests to create a nice looking perforated metal pattern on a wide range of perforated sheet size ( as small as A4 size). They said that the software worked really well with the Andy Warhol pop-art of Marilyn Monroe and satisfy with the result. They have a wide range of punching tools to give a better result of the perforated pattern "flow" and trying to create more attactive pattern based on their image documents.

The team from Advance Metal Product (Australia) has conducted a perforated metal product test for their Boscotec logo generated by Image2Punch Software. The material is 1.5mm zinc seal and the sheet is approximately 1200mm x 350mm. They utilized their turret punch machine and were happy with the outcome and are trying to create more complex design.

Another contribution comes from 4M group which has used image2punch to create an innovative perforated metal pattern installed for their office in London. The image is of a forest. 4M is a multidisciplinary group which delivers quality through design, architecture and generative solutions.
