Image Adjustment Option
The image manipulation processes in the image adjustment control panel are used to adjust image documents. By calculating or comparing each pixel against certain parameters colours may be adjusted. Of the six features currently available, Black and White (BW), Solarize, Invert and Grayscale enable you to directly manipulate your image document without defining any parameter. Saturation or Brightness, on the other hand, opens a dialog box that allows you to define the parameters before manipulation takes place.
Saturation
When you select Saturation on the control panel, a dialog [box] open by which you may define the saturation parameter. Three parameters enable you to adjust the Red, Green and Blue values of the image document, and a fourth enables you to adjust the Saturation value of your image document. All four parameters range from 100 to 100. You can define the value by using either the slider control, the edit box or the spin control button.

Value is measured from 0%, which means there is no change, to 100% which means complete brightness adjustment to your image document. You can adjust the brightness value by using either the slider control or the edit box.
