5. Changing Text Property

When these two text shapes were created, all the text shapes reflected to the default property. In this step you will change the text property shape into the desired property parameters. The procedure to alter the text shape property for a particular text is as follows:

  1. Click the Normal button to call the Normal event, either by clicking the graphical button on the Standard menu or by clicking the Normal menu item on the View menu on the Menu toolbar.
  2. Select the text shape on the upper half area of the image document. When you have selected it, an outline rectangle will appear surrounding the word.
  3. Change the word on the text edit box on the Text Property toolbar to “Image”.
  4. Select Arial Black for the font type.
  5. Select 180 for the font size. The parameter is defined in the Custom Font Size dialog box.
  6. Change the font style into Bold.
  7. Move the text shape into the centre of the upper half area
  8. Select the text shape on the lower half area of the image document. A boundary rectangle will appear to identify the selected shape.
  9. Change the word on the text edit box on the Text Property toolbar to “Punch”.
  10. Select Comic Sans MS for the font type
  11. Select 225 for the font size. The parameter is defined in the Custom Font Size dialog box.
  12. Define the font style as Regular.
  13. Move the text shape into the center of the lower half area
